While working on Codex Black’s Chapter 2 I drew the coolest and most epic panel of the webcomic so far, but I can’t show it to you because it would be mayor spoilers, so instead, here you have the next panel with the reaction to the awesomeness of the previous drawing. (Drawing shocked people is fun)
Nothing’s been decided yet, but Chapter 2 will most probably start weekly updates in Thursday January 17th.
It’s finally printed!
“To Steal the Soul, chronicles of many instants” by Teresa Gil, for which I did the cover illustration.
A sad Donaji because of the theft of traditional designs of indigenous people by the fashion industry.
Some new character designs for my webcomic Codex Black. Among them is Cosijoeza (pronounced “Cocihoesa”), Great King (Coquitao) of Zaachila and ruler of the zapotec people. He is famous for his historical showdown with Emperor (Huey Tlatoani) Ahuizotl’s aztec armies at the Battle of Guiengola.
(Note: Oxa is pronounced “Osha”)

haii, what's your comic pages resolutions? (on tapas io) :0c
Hi! I export at 900 x 1404 px, though it isn’t a standard size for anything anywhere, I can’t even remember how I came up with such a size D:
I’m a grinch, so you won’t see my characters saying “Merry Christmas”, but still hope you all have a good day/evening. Donaji approves the sacrifice of turkeys though, as any good zapotec would do.
Did this piece during the semester that just ended.
I tried to make it real sized compared to a raven skeleton, though I used crow feathers for the tip of the wings.
With this, the first chapter of Codex Black reaches its conclusion. From here I’ll do a short pause because of the holidays and because I need to catch a breath D: I will resume weekly updates in mid January with Chapter 2! (I will ALSO start my LAST semester at the university so let’s see how that turns out)
